It's come to our attention that the rules for dodging guns (and by extension, bows and crossbows) is unclear. Until 2nd Edition comes out, here's a solution.
Non-Phased Combat
To dodge guns, crossbows, or bows, you must be aware of the attack, and your Initiative for an Active Dodge must be within 10 of the attacker's Initiative (or higher than the attackers). You then roll Dodge at -12 PEN (guns), -10 PEN (crossbows), or -8 PEN (bows). Passive Defense cannot be used against these kinds of attacks.
Phased Combat
To dodge guns, crossbows, or bows, you must be aware of the attack, and your Active Dodge must occur within 5 Phases of the attack (or before than the attackers). You then roll Dodge at -12 PEN (guns), -10 PEN (crossbows), or -8 PEN (bows). Passive Defense cannot be used against these kinds of attacks.
